About De Paul Education Trust


De Paul Education Trust is a non-profiteering charitable organization under the Marymatha Province of Vincentian Congregation, a religious community in the Catholic fold. The Trust has been legally registered under Indian Trust Act, 1882 (Reg.No.156/4/1998). De Paul Education Trust, backed by one of its missions “Liberation through Education”, has set up various educational and training institutions with a view to grooming up future leaders guided by the values of St.Vincent de Paul, our Patron Saint. The Council of the Province meeting held on 01-07-1998 had authorized the Provincial Superior Rev. Fr. James Chelapurath VC to execute the Trust Deed. at present Provincial Superior Rev.Fr. Paul Puthu VC the President of the Trust.

According to the Trust deed, the head of the executive body is President and the President will be the Provincial Superior of the Marymatha Province and other members of the executive body will be the superiors of the houses wherever they have the educational institutions and other priests appointed by the president.

Objectives Objectives of the Trust is to render educational services solely for philanthropic purposes and not for purpose of profit and that too with special attention to the Christian minority community as long as the constitution of India permits to do so and in other circumstances to all irrespective of caste, creed and community. Such educational services shall inter alia include;

  • a) Establishing and managing educational institutions of academic, technical training or job oriented nature like Nurseries, Schools, Colleges, ITI’s, Computer Training Centers, Coaching Centers, for competitive examinations etc.
  • b) To take over and manage any existing institutions of the above nature.
  • c) To promote education by encouraging other charitable institution of similar nature or students by extending financial or other help.
  • d) To undertake any other charitable work or to incur any such expense to a limited extent that will be beneficial to the student community to get enriched in their knowledge through practical experience.
